December Dance Recital info...
The dance recital will be held December 4th from 6:30-7:00 p.m.
At Hunter High School which is located at
4200 S. 5600 W.
West Valley
The girls will need to arrive at Hunter 30 minutes prior to the show beginning, with their hair and make-up done.
The Dress rehearsal will be held December 3rd from 6:00-6:30ish please arrive on time with hair and make-up done so that we can help the rehearsal to go as smoothly as possible. Parents please plan on staying the entire time to stay with your girls and incase we need to run dances a couple of times.
December Dance info...
Regular dance classes will be held the week of the recital and up until the 22nd of December. Classes will then resume January 5th 2009. IT is important that the girls continue classes in December so that they don't loose any technique that they have worked so hard to gain. We will also be learning fun Christmas dances that will be shown in each class the last week to parents and others that would like to come. This will only be the last 10 minutes of class and not the entire class!
Recital Fee
There is a $15.00 recital fee
due by November 31st
for each girl participating in the recital.
This allows us to have a ticket-free recital (yeah!)
Looking for parents...
I am lookinf for parents interested in helping back stage during the dress rehearsal and the recital. We would rotate to ensure that you would be in the audience during your daughter's dance! Please let me know if you are interested ASAP!
Costumes
Costumes are not to be worn other than the recital and dress rehearsal. It is very important that we keep our costumes looking as crips and clean as the day we got them!
No Observation week during November and December
I am finding that observation week can cause some issues in class...to ensure that the girls are prepared for the recital I will not be holding an observation week during November and December. December we will have a shortened version where parents and friends can come in the last 10 min to see Christmas dances.
Thanks so much for your understanding!
