Academy of Dance: December 2009

I am so excited that it is that time of year...Recital time! The girls have been working so hard and I am thrilled with their progress this year. A reminder that it is now too late to exchange costumes before the recital. Any questions you have about costumes let me know either prior to or at the dress rehearsal! Thanks for your support and I hope you enjoy this time of year as much as I do!

December Tuition NOW due!

All payments received after the 10th are subject to a 15% fee

Studio Rehearsal-Saturday December 12th

9:00-11:00 am

only ages 5-up

Parents there will be very limited space, please plan on dropping your daughter off and picking them up there isn't enough room for you to stay...thanks!

Dress Rehearsal-Monday December 14th

6:00-7:30 pm

At South Hills Middle School 13501 S. 4000 W

Parents of daughter ages 2-4 please plan on staying with them I will most likely send them home early!

Recital-Tuesday December 15th

6:00-7:30 pm

At South Hills Middle School

Girls need to arrive no later than 5:45 completely ready to start!

There will still be classes Wednesday and Thursday after the Recital

Friday the 18th will be a make-up day for Monday and Tuesday classes, the schedule is as follows.

2-4 yr. olds 3:15-4:00 pm

5-7 yr. olds 4:00-5:30 pm

8-10 yr olds will do make-up on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00pm

Christmas break

December 21st-January 3rd

Classes will resume Monday January 4th 2010

*All Academy classes are taken in a block. Academy D and Jr. Academy will have two costumes for the recital. Sr. Academy, Academy A, B, C will have three costumes.

#All Sr. Academy A, Academy B and Academy C girls will have a technique only class Monday nights from 7:30-8:30 or Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 No choreography will be taught, strictly technique.
