Costumes!

Here are pictures of most of the costumes. Academy A and B are in a different catalog and their website wouldn't let me steal pictures to post. If you go here it should take you to the catalog. Academy A's costumes are style number #2472 and Academy B's costumes are #7575 hopefully this will help!

The rest of the costumes below are posted for each class. Reminder Academy C, B and A will have the same hip hop costumes that will also be their team sweats. So I will be having them monogramed with the studio name as well as their name or nick name. and reminder that if the girls already have the black hip hop pants from last year they can use them again this year.

Also quick reminder costume money is due by Thursday Sept. 8th. If you need to work out a payment plan please let me know.

Christmas Recital Dates and Costume info!

Parents,
Due to issues with getting costumes on time last year I am
going to be ordering earlier to ensure that we are able to receive our
costumes with enough time to make exchanges before the recital. I have
been assured from the catalog that I order from that they have worked
out the issues on their end, but I don't want to chance anything.
Below I have broken down the costume schedule. If you are interested
in paying the costume money in installments please let me know and I
am more then happy to work with you.

Costume money is due by September 8th. Also there may be some

changes to the hip hop costumes for Academy B and C I will keep

you posted once all the costumes get picked.

Also The Christmas Recital date is set for December 12th for the dress rehearsal and December 13th for the recital. They will both be at Herriman High School and will both be from 6:00-7:30! I am really looking forward to being able to have our concert here again!

-No dance Monday May 30^th due to Memorial Day

-There will still be dance classes May 31^st-June 1^st.

-Tumbling make up class will be held June 2^nd from 4:00-4:45 pm if you are not going to be there for the make-up class please let me know so Scott knows how many to expect.

-Dress rehearsal Thursday June 2^nd from 5:00-6:30

-Dance Recital Friday June 3^rd from 6:00-7:00 girls need to arrive at 5:30

-Both dress rehearsal and recital are at Herriman High School Located at 11917 S. 6000 W.

-Costume/hair are on the blog if you didn’t receive the note or the e-mail. All girls need to be wearing stage make-up…bright blush and dark eyes so that the girls will be easily seen from stage and with the bright lights.

*Girls that are only in tumbling can get a solo pic if they would like there is time allotted at the end, they can wear whatever they would like.

Please be sure to arrive about 10 minutes before your actual picture time, and please come completely ready. We will not be able to wait for people who are not there for their picture time. If you miss pictures please feel free to contact the photographer to possibly get a photo from the dress rehearsal, she may be able to work something out to help!

The Cove at Herriman Springs is located at: 7200 W. 14200 S. – Herriman

From Bangerter Hwy drive 5.5 mi west until you reach 13400 S. Turn west. Drive 3.0 mi going west until you reach 6400 W. Turn left. Drive .6 mi going south to 13875 South (Rose Canyon Rd). Turn right. Drive 1 mi until you see 6990 West (Spring Canyon Rd). Turn left.

Schedule Change

Please note that there is a schedule change. I have had an overwhelming demand for the 5-6 yr old Academy class. As such I have made some slight changes to the Wednesday and one of the Monday classes to make room for an Academy E class 4-7 yr Academy class.

Spring Recital Dates

Dress Rehearsal: June 2^nd 5:00-6:30

Dance Recital: June 3^rd 6:00-7:00 (girls need to arrive ½ hr prior to the recital)

Recital FEE

There is a $15.00 recital fee due by April 22^nd. This allows us to have a ticket free recital (YEAH!) There is a late fee for recital fee’s received after the 22^nd.

Lost and Found

I will be taking all the items in the lost and found to the D.I. April30th. Please be sure to go though it before it is gone for good!

Spring Recess

No dance

Tuesday April 19^th-Monday April 25^th

There will still be classes Monday April 18^th, and classes will resume Tuesday April 26^th

Picture Day

Weather permitting we will be taking pictures outdoors at “The Cove” in Herriman. If the weather isn’t cooperative (like last year) we will hold pictures in the studio!

I will have the fall schedule ready by April 15^{th (YEAH!!!)}. I will be doing an early registration for returning students until the 22^nd and then I will open up registration to new students. If you register before May 1^st the registration fee will only be $15 instead of the usual $20.

I will not be holding a registration open house this year (most people contact me directly now!) Feel free to call me or e-mail me any time during the summer break to register your daughters.

I am so excited for this upcoming recital, the girls have worked so hard and we are all so excited for them to finally be able to show off their progress this year. Below is the order of the program, please be sure that if your daughter has a costume change you are aware of which costume they will perform in first (that will be the costume they need to arrive wearing to the dress rehearsal as well as the recital.) Also please be sure to LABEL EVERYTHING (yes I mean everything) There will be so many of the same costumes I would hate for people to misplace anything at this recital and not have it for the next. Dear Tuesday Parents:
I want to apologize for the huge delay in getting your costumes to you. I have used this catalog for 3 yrs. now and have never had a problem until now. We are now on our third costume order (the original was coming in from China and wasn't going to be here in the time they had said, the second costume they only sent the leotards and when I called back about the skirts they were on back order, the third costume they over-nighted them and only sent part of my order.) So to say the least I have really gotten to know a few people over at the costume catalog, and they are finally here. If you would like to come and pick them up prior to Tuesday please feel free, and also let me know if they don't fit, I'm not sure we would be able to get exchanges before the recital but I will certainly try my hardest. Thanks again for your patience and I can't wait to see their smiling faces up on the stage in their costumes!

Maternity Leave

As most of you can tell by the looks of me I am about ready to pop! As such I wanted to reassure all the parents that while I am on maternity leave classes will go just as normal. Lindsay and Becca will be substituting all of my classes for the couple of weeks I will be taking to re-cooperate.

Most of the girls dances have been started and some have even been completed. The teachers will work on those with the girls, and classes will go on just as they have. I appreciate all of your trust in me and for your concern for me. I can't wait to have this little girlie and hopefully add one more dancer to our studio(ha ha ha!)

If I haven't had the baby before then I will be starting my maternity leave after September 30th. Thanks again for all you do, and know I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to work with each of your daughters!
